The Hike

  1. Start at the park trailhead

Find the Mount Saint Helena access on the north side of Highway 29. Check the park map so you take the summit route rather than the southern Table Rock trail.

  2. Climb toward the summit

Follow the signed summit route through forest and chaparral. The former Stevenson cabin site is marked along the way.

  3. Return with daylight to spare

Retrace your route. The summit trip is about 10 miles out and back, so plan your turnaround before starting.
